Superior Security supported the local community on several levels for the 18th Annual Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon.
Over 24,000 participants entered the Run to Remember on April 29, 2018, an event that honors the 168 lives lost in the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in 1995. Event speakers included Senator James Lankford, and the National Anthem was performed by AGT winner Darci Lynne and her mom Misty Farmer as tens of thousands of spectators and over 3000 volunteers gathered to support runners from all over the world. The globally renown event consists of a full marathon, a half marathon, a relay marathon, and a 5K.
CEO of Superior Security and Maltos Security Group, Louis Maltos, joined with the Midwest City Rotary Club at one of the marathon’s Runner Stations to provide water, heat sheets, crisis support, and plenty of encouragement to the race’s most dedicated runners.
Payroll Manager Debi Blood had an impressive showing (top 11%) in the 5K portion of the Run to Remember and is determined to win her division in 2019.
Supporting our community is part of what keeps Superior Security on top of our division as we get ready to celebrate the company’s Silver Anniversary in 2019.
